A → Amala Paul

Amala  Paul (1991-) was born in Ernakulam, Kerala to Christian Malayali parents, Paul Varghese and Annice Paul. Her debut occurred when her modelling portfolio was spotted by noted Malayalam director Lal Jose who offered her a supporting role in his remake, Neelathamara in 2009. She later moved into the Tamil and Telugu industries where she established herself as a leading actress. Amala returned to do occasional Malayalam films with Ithu Nammude Katha in 2011, Aakashathinte Niram in 2012, and her upcoming film Run Baby Run with Mohanlal.
